 DETERGENTS IMPACT ON FISH POPULATIONS

An experiment conducted by a group of students in secondary schools ( SMPN 7 ) in South Tangerang , in duty group is observing the impact of detergents on fish life.

With the materials used are as follows:
1. Two (2) pieces of glass size @ 100 ml
2. A (1) measuring cup
3. Six (6) ornamental fish
4. Five (5) drops of liquid detergent
5. One hundred (100) ml water

Kondisi ikan di gelas A

Both glasses ( labeled A and B ) prepared with clean water and fish filled. Each filled with 50 ml glasses of water and three fish.

A glass treatments are not given anything, while the glass B plus 5 drops of liquid detergent. Within 5 minutes all of the fish in the glass B will be dead.

Wow ... so extraordinary impact of the use of detergent for fish populations. What is the condition of fish at the river where the water is contaminated with waste materials and household plants?





DAMPAK DETERGEN TERHADAP POPULASI IKAN

Gelas B sebelum ditambah detergen

Suatu percobaan yang dilakukan oleh sekelompok siswa SMPN 7 di Tangerang Selatan dalam menjalankan tugas kelompoknya adalah mengamati dampak detergen terhadap kehidupan ikan.

Dengan bahan-bahan yang digunakan adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Dua ( 2 ) buah gelas ukuran @ 100 ml
2. Sebuah ( 1 ) gelas ukur
3. Enam ( 6 ) ekor ikan hias
4. Lima ( 5 ) tetes detergen cair
5. Seratus ( 100 ) ml air bersih

Kedua gelas ( diberi label A dan B ) disiapkan dengan diisi air bersih dan ikan. Masing-masing gelas diisi 50 ml air bersih dan tiga ekor ikan.

Gelas B setelah ditambah detergen, dalam 5 menit ikan mati semua

Gelas A tidak diberikan treatmen apa-apa, sedangkan gelas B ditambah dengan 5 tetes detergen cair. Dalam 5 menit ikan dalam gelas B ternyata mati semua.

Wow ... begitu luar biasa dampak pemakaian detergen bagi populasi ikan. Bagaimana kondisi ikan-ikan disungai yang airnya terkontaminasi bahan-bahan limbah pabrik dan rumah tangga?

Dalam wawancara dengan masyarakat yang menerima dana kompensasi kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi, sebenarnya mereka lebih mengharapkan stabilitas harga, sehingga mereka lebih dapat menata kehidupan di masa depan, dari pada kenaikan harga-harga barang kebutuhan.

Bayangkan saja, bagaimana mereka dapat membagi penghasilan yang sudah minim, dengan berbagai hal yang ada di depan mata di saat ini, diantaranya:
1. Kenaikan harga BBM dan kenaikan harga barang dan jasa lain sebagai dampaknya.
2. Persiapan menjelang puasa dan lebaran, yang membutuhkan dana lebih untuk dapat bekumpu dengan keluarga
3. Persiapan anak masuk sekolah, di mana biaya masuk sekolah yang harus ditanggung, diantara; sumbangan uang gedung, uang seragam, uang buku, dan biaya lainnya.

Sungguh kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi semakin menjerit leher rakyat kecil.
